The EQui-T Teacher Training

The EQui-T teacher training programme supports teachers and other stakeholders in the education sector in designing OER for inclusive (technology-supported) teaching. The training programme consists of five modules:

The five modules of the EQui-T teacher training programme

On this page you will find:

  • the teacher training curriculum,
  • information on digital competence for teachers,
  • information on why OER are a key component of inclusive education,
  • information on implementing the teacher training programme, as well as insights into the training in Austria,
  • practical materials and testimonials from participants and trainers, as well as
  • our EQui-T MOOC for teacher trainers and everyone who is interested.

Teacher Training Curriculum

The curriculum forms the basis of the EQui-T teacher training programme. It provides a structured overview of the content, objectives and methods of the training and demonstrates how

  • inclusion,
  • digital competence,
  • open educational resources,
  • inclusive design and its implementation, as well as
  • evaluation and assessment

are connected and can be put into practice in inclusive teaching.

Digital competence and inclusion

To what extent can digital media enhance teaching and facilitate inclusive education? Questions relating to digital competence and inclusion were discussed during the teacher training . If we’ve sparked your interest, click here to watch our explanatory video.

OER as a key component of inclusive education

Open Educational Resources (OER) open up new possibilities for flexible and inclusive teaching. But what exactly are OER? How can they support breaking down barriers and make learning accessible to everyone? You’ll find answers to these and other questions in this video, which explains the link between OER and inclusive education.

Insights into the implementation of the teacher training

The teacher training was implemented in all five consortium countries between February and May 2026.

So how was the training delivered? Insights into the practical implementation of the training, the course and teaching materials developed, as well as impressions from participants and trainers can be found here.

Impressions of a teacher trainer

Admittedly, the participants’ feedback does give some insight into their perception of the teacher training. But what about the trainers’ perspective?

You can find the story of a teacher trainer from Austria here.

The EQui-T MOOC

Would you like to explore these topics in greater depth? The EQui-T MOOC offers teacher trainers and anyone who is interested the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the project’s content flexibly and from anywhere. Via the iMooX platform, you can access all the project outcomes. Learning materials, videos and further resources – of course all of them are OERs.
